HAMID BOUHAYEK

Hamid grew up in the Sahara Desert near Merzouga. His family is still there. When Hamid is not working he enjoys spending time with his parents as well as spending quiet time in the desert. Hamid has been working with tourists for over 17 years. He began learning his trade by working at a desert camp. He’s been driving for more than 13 years. He enjoys sharing Morocco’s culture with guests. This includes sharing Moroccan food and the best places to enjoy it. He believes Morocco has very important things for guests to experience: warm, hospitable culture, beautiful landscapes, and quiet places in the desert. Hamid speaks English, Spanish, French, Arabic, and Berber dialect.
