Cascades d’Ouzoud

About 100 miles (160 km) east of Marrakech are the well-known falls of Cascades d’Ouzoud. The Oued Ouzoud River drops 360 feet (110 meters) into the canyon of Oued el-Abid in three-tiered waterfalls. The base, with its own rainbow mists, is accessible through a grove of olive trees.

The falls make for a great day trip from Marrakech, although the time of year needs to be well chosen.
