It is located 120 km east of Fez, 200 km southeast of Nador and 210 km west of Oujda, making it the center-most point of the Northern region. Taza has a fortified old Medina within which you can find its famous Andalusian Mosque, as well as Grain Market and Souk, where various goods local to the region are sold.
