Tizi-n- Test Pass
Tizi-n- Test Pass
The Tizi-n-Test mountain pass is at an elevation of 6,867 feet (2,092 meters). It is one of the most spectacular mountain passes in the country, but the drive is certainly not for the faint-hearted. We recommend cross the pass in the hands of a capable Open Doors Morocco host.
The road connects Asni to Taroudant via the High Atlas Mountains. The dramatic landscapes are breathtaking and photo worthy. The road was built by French colonists, and completed in 1932. It was the first road linking Marrakech to the Souss Valley. Before the road was built, it was nearly impossible to control this area of the country.
